Great location. Beautiful inside and outside. Lots of duplicate art tho. Staff a bit slow and not in a rush to help but super kind and made great eating suggestions. The room had an awesome welcome packet with all tourists information which we used . Pool closes way too early so we never got to swim but it looked nice.

Easy check in and out no wait. IHOP connected to hotel which make it easy to grab food. The pictures hanging through out the halls were cool. Ice machine, vending machines & security cameras on parking lot. Plenty of space in room. Pool also available. We booked last minute and they still had availability during carnival weekend. We away from all the traffic congestion.

A few complaints I had was the water barely got hot. The hotel is under construction, so that is a plus. Older property so it is in need of repair. No breakfast offered, coffee is served in the lobby and I hop is there. Stayed there for a week while moving. The AC worked well, bed was fine, soft pillows. Side door on the first floor was locked but as people exited, the door would slam closed. Our room was next to it. Became annoying after awhile.

This Ramada in Metairie in particular is one that you got to go to. It's always super clean and properly stocked. It feels like you're in a palace of some sort. The architecture in the rooms and the rest of the hotel give it a five star vibe. I stay in Windham Hotels for work and this Ramada in particular I look for every reason to book. Even if it's a little out of the way on the job site I'll still book it instead of others. Also it's never been dirty not one time. Check in takes 1 minute and 15 seconds tops.

It was just perfect for us. Front desk staff was very kind and very knowledgeable AND he even warned us about what areas of city to avoid and advised good ways to reach the tourist activity and other parts of the metro area. Room was lovely and thankfully had old French look with a "Vieux Carre" painting and other nice things. The breakfast was very good. It was overall a perfect experience here.

I've stayed here 4 times in 2025 and have had no major issues except one. The last time I visited which was December 2025 the tub was not draining properly. Maintenance came to attempt to unclog it but when he left it was still clogged. I have since reminded myself to always check the sink, tub and toilet first before checking in so I am not inconvenienced. The only thing I really don't like about this hotel is the red carpet in the rooms. Carpets hold bacteria, dirt and germs. Bring flip flops. If you are a coffee drinker, they have really good hot delicious coffee out by 5AM. The staff is always professional. Not friendly but very professional.

A nice place w quiet, comfortable rooms in convenient location for Metairie/Kenner/airport/I-10 access. Definitely not where to stay to do the NOLA tourist thing unless NOLA icon themed rm names+nostalgic prints in halls will suffice. IHOP attached for easy access. Mystery priced snack+drink vending accepts cc/debit, laundry, free toothbrush if you forget. Small fitness center=YOU can star in the cc feature streaming on big screen@front desk/entrance-security cam filter only The rooms are well worn. Not problematic, but details like unevenly worn mattresses btw the 2 beds, articulation of crevices on hvac unit parts stained black, thickly layered paint+etched fixtures in bathrm reveal age. Everything worked, was sufficiently clean/sanitary+comfortable. My ground level rm had the distinctly local feature common to many NOLA lodgings=formerly flooded?/eternally damp odour riding underneath an overpowering institutional floral bouquet of deodorising disinfectant which faded; attributable to early checkin on heels of housekeeping. It prompted me to inspect+verify that the towels, bathrm, carpet, furniture, beds, linens, etc were / smelled clean. They squeezed a mini fridge, microwave, tv, desk w chair, +recliner into the rm w 2 Q beds. Could have done w/o recliner. It ain’t the Ritz, but it’s far better than just adequate. LOVEd the sliding glass doors+separate screen door to patio/balcony. They’re hidden behind sliding wooden louvred blinds—attractive+appealing hygienic alternative to textile draperies, but they do not serve as blackout screens or provide much privacy due to gaping distance btw sliding tracks (depth-wise, so they certainly pass easily in front or in back of one another). Re: rooms on ground level have a tiny patio, not balcony, so the “window”/sliding doors w these blinds open onto the courtyard footpath around the gated pool w no barrier. Traffic passing that way was minimal, especially w weather discouraging anyone’s desire to linger outdoors, but I still felt uncomfortably exposed. After experimenting w the options, I just used the bathrm to change clothes bc if the blinds were aligned w gap facing away from the sleeper’s head, it faced the large mirror on opposite wall, i.e. reflected entire room visible from outside. If blinds were reversed, the gap revealed the rear corner of the room, including edge of the nearest bed, +through which an excessively bright quadrilateral of light —in this rm=full direct view of huge, intense floodlight beaming down into courtyard—slashed onto the rear wall and across part of the head of that bed. As much as I appreciated the visual aesthetic of this rm’s window design, I found it functionally problematic. I need true darkness to sleep, so I was not so well rested being stuck w the bed near the shutter/blinds. I hung towels + my jacket in the gap, but it was still quite bright. Sleep masks recommended if you can stand them. The bathroom met minimum standards for functional parts + cleanliness. Aside from obvious wear + tear that did not impede functionality (except I found the deposits and stains discouraged the use of tub for bath instead of just a shower. No big deal), a big pet peeve=no vent fanI will be eternally perplexed by the absence of this essential feature in any bathrm but especially in public lodging +even more importantly, in perennially humid locales!? Also noteworthy: insufficient surface space to place personal things one typically uses in bathrm+no hooks/bars to hang towels, etc. There was a recessed hanging closet just inside rm entrance (w safe) but it lacked circulation. Picky detail: hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap provided. No body lotion. In short: serviceable bathrm kinda felt inhospitable. The staff were amazing. Very friendly, welcoming+helpful. Pool looked nice but weather was prohibitive. Funfact: its one of the few remaining pools w an authentic “deep end” (not dive pool deep, but overhead-even for a pro baller- deep…lol i don’t usually call anyone a baller, but it makes me laugh, so im gonna leave it).

Clean, well priced hotel. We asked for a Poolside view, and kind of got one. If you looked to the left far enough, you could see the Pool. Directly in front of us was the roof of the waffle house, where they were doing some work, so our view was really a work site. Staff was friendly, and our room was clean, but needed some updating. Overall, it was good for the price.
